(Baghdad: Al Furat News) Chairman of the Committee of Experts on the selection of the Electoral Commission Amer Khuzaie that the parliament will vote on the names of the 9 candidates for the Commission despite all the objections and disagreements.
Khuzai told the {Euphrates News} today, that "candidate names will bring votes despite the objections and differences between the political blocs on them, and will resolve the matter in the coming sessions of the House of Representatives."
He added that "within the framework of the law all the candidates are independent in the period of their work in the Office of the work or any party belongs to the candidate in which the pledge and section," noting that "the parliament did not reject the names of candidates, but refused to process the presentation of the report of the Commission on its agenda, Member of the Committee of Experts only one, "noting that" his withdrawal was days before the final report on the names of candidates. "
On the accusations against the selection of the 9 names explained Khazali that "all members of the Committee are nominated names according to voting mechanism, and the forms were handed to us and the presidential body of the Committee and sorted them and the report was written," noting that "the votes and names and forms also exist and can each member of the Committee See them ".
On the rejection of the proposal of the Committee of Experts to increase the number of Commissioners to 11 members, Khazali said that "this is not a proposal but an amendment to the law after the minorities have taken the order of the Federal Court, has been the first reading and the second and we wait to vote on it."
He pointed out that "in the event of failure to vote on the amendment, it will return to parliament to take a decision to extend the work of the Commission or go to the judiciary."
