{{International: Euphrates News} The Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities of Egypt Mustafa Waziri, revealed the upper part of the obelisk to Queen "Ankh S. Bibi II" mother of King Bibi II, a king of the sixth family.
"This came during the archaeological excavations carried out by the French-Swiss archaeological mission from the University of Geneva, east of the Queen's pyramid, with its funerary collection in the Saqqara region," Waziri said in a statement.
He stressed that "the importance of this disclosure, due to it belongs to one of the queens of the ruling house, during the era of the old state, as it was a testament to the throne, during the first period of the rule of her son, King Bibi II, who took the throne, and is at the age of six" .
He added that "on one side of the obelisk found the mission, the cartouche King Bibi II reads {Nafar Ka Ra], the title of the king's reign, and below it appears one of the signs of hieroglyphics, which reads {mn} and then down a broken part. He pointed out that "it is likely that by completing the inscription the royal mother reads to Nafar [Ankh Anb Bibi II], which explains the importance of this queen and her status during that period of ancient Egyptian history."
