A deputy close to Prime Minister Haider Abadi, on Thursday, the postponement of the last visit scheduled to Syria until the end of several files stuck in the region, indicating that the visit to Syria sensitive and give a message to some parties that Iraq line with one axis without another.
"The visit of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to Syria is subject to several issues in the region, including the end of the war and the creation of an international consensus between the conflicting parties," MP Jassem Mohammad Jaafar said in a press statement.
He added that "the visit at the moment provokes the anger of some friendly parties and give a negative message of belonging to Iraq to a certain alliance at the expense of other alliances and this is rejected by Abadi, who insists on neutrality in crises," noting that "Abadi can send political delegations represented in a decade of understandings or agreements "He said.
Ja'far previously revealed, on 25 October last, the intention of Abadi visit Syria during the coming period to put forward the vision of Iraq for the region.
