The Iraqi parliament voted in a session on Thursday on the wording of a resolution on the salaries and allocations of militias of the popular crowd, which includes mostly armed Shiite factions.
The agenda of today's session includes voting in principle on the draft law on the lease of agricultural land, voting on a resolution on the water crisis in Samawah, voting on the recommendations of the Committee of the Displaced, Displaced and Expatriates regarding the return of displaced persons to their regions and voting on the accession of the candidates to the Committee of the kidnapped and the problem (159).
The session also includes a vote on the nomination of members of the candidates to the Committee to address the housing crisis in Iraq and the issue of Order No. 196, vote on the wording of the decision regarding the scheduling of agricultural loans, and vote on the wording of a decision on the salaries and allowances of volunteers of the Popular Lobby.
According to a statement issued by the Council, the table also includes "a vote on the wording of a decision on the follow-up of money smuggled from oil revenues by officials in the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government."
The statement said that the agenda includes voting on the draft law of the union of health professions, voting on the proposal of the law of the Nursing Syndicate, the constitutional oath of some substitutes, and the first reading of the proposal of the second amendment law to compensate the victims who lost part of their bodies due to the practices of the former regime 2009, the first reading of the proposed law of plastic arts, and the first reading of the proposed health insurance law.
