condemned a number of countries in the world , North Korea missile launch a new intercontinental ballistic missile landed in the Sea of Japan after cutting about a thousand kilometers, according to preliminary estimates announced by the US Department of Defense.

The countries described Pyongyang's new missile test as a threat to the world, especially as the long-distance missile exceeded its previous experience.

Washington, Tokyo and Seoul called for an emergency session of the UN Security Council on Wednesday evening (Nov. 29, 2017) to discuss the latest missile test for North Korea. According to what the US channel Al Hurra said tonight.

For his part, US Defense Secretary James Matisse said that the launch of the missile is a global threat.

"The missile was flying more than any previous launch," the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) quoted Matisse as saying at the White House after he briefed the US president and senior officials on the launch of the latest missile. Ballistic missiles threaten anywhere in the world. "

That comes as Japanese Defense Minister Atsunori Onodera said the North Korean missile, described by Washington as intercontinental, had probably fallen into Japan's maritime economic zone.

In the old continent, and from Brussels, the European Union condemned North Korea's launch of the missile, describing the experience as another unacceptable violation by North Korea of its international obligations.

From Paris, French President Emmanuel Macaron condemned North Korea's new missile test as "irresponsible."

Britain also condemned Pyongyang's actions. Britain's representative to the United Nations, according to the BBC, described the experiment as "reckless."

The launch test, conducted early on Wednesday, is the latest in a series of missile tests that have sparked international tensions. The last time North Korea launched a ballistic missile last September came days after its sixth nuclear test.

Pyongyang has been under UN sanctions since 2006 for its ballistic missile and nuclear weapons programs.
