The US State Department announced Thursday that US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is continuing to do his full work, despite rumors that the White House had denied his resignation early.
"The secretary of state continues to do his job, he works with the president, he loves his work, he continues the meetings, and he works according to his agenda," State Department spokesman Heather Nauret said Thursday at a regular news conference.
"It is not the first time that the minister has heard reports about his resignation and has not given it importance," she said.
"It is clear that they have differences in different political areas, without a doubt, and that the foreign minister talked about it himself, and that is one of the reasons why the president takes him."
According to her, Tillerson and Trump held two meetings today
