The Palestinian ambassador to Iraq Ahmed Aql called on Saturday for Arab and Islamic countries to boycott American products, while stressing that Iraq is one of the first countries that condemned and demanded the expulsion of the US ambassador.
"The Arab and Islamic countries are called upon to boycott American products in protest against the decision of US President Donald Trump to move the US embassy to Jerusalem and to consider it as the capital of the Zionist entity," Akel told the news agency.
He added that "Iraq is one of the first Arab and Islamic countries that condemned and demanded the expulsion of the US ambassador and the closure of the US embassy in Baghdad."
