     Follow-up: Sky Press:

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan warned that the loss of occupied Jerusalem means the loss of Mecca, stressing that the recent US decision on the occupied city is the beginning of a new attack targeting the Middle East in particular, and Muslims in general.

"If we lose Jerusalem, we will not be able to protect Medina," Erdogan said. "If we lose the city, we can not protect Mecca. If Mecca falls, we will lose the Kaaba."

According to the Turkish president, a new attack targeting the Middle East and all Muslims; through the American recognition of occupied Jerusalem as the capital of "Israel".

Erdogan reiterated that his country "will continue to take other steps to address the decision of the US administration," noting that "Jerusalem is the dignity of all Muslims in the world."

"We will do everything necessary to preserve what God has commanded us and the faithfulness of our ancestors (Jerusalem)."

In what was known as "the second Friday of anger," most of the cities of Palestine saw widespread protests against US President Donald Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as its capital and to transfer his country's embassy from Tel Aviv to the occupied city.

The Palestinians adhere to East Jerusalem as the capital of their independent state, based on the decisions of the international community, which does not recognize all that resulted from Israel's occupation of the eastern part of the city in 1967. It annexed it to the western part in 1980, declaring it a "united and eternal capital".
