Shankali: Infallible will launch a dialogue between Abadi and Barzani early 2018 under international auspices

Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) MP Majid Shankali on Friday unveiled a dialogue between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in early 2018 under the auspices of a UN party.
"President Fuad Masum is making great efforts to find a way out of the current crisis between Baghdad and Erbil, especially after the Kurdistan government declared its respect for the Iraqi constitution and to work under it to build a federal Iraq," Shankali was quoted as saying.
The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Najran Barzani, confirmed on Thursday, the importance of resolving the differences with Baghdad according to the Iraqi constitution. He renewed his government's respect for the decision of the Federal Court not to recognize the referendum held by the Territory on the twenty-fifth of last September. Referring to international support for such dialogue, especially from Germany and France, which he visited during the past period, he revealed that he received a message from President Fouad Masoum on the future dialogue between Baghdad and Erbil.
Shankali stressed that "the dialogue between the two parties will begin at the beginning of next year and under the auspices of an international representative of the United Nations, in view of the lack of confidence between the parties, which are already almost nonexistent among all political parties," pointing out that "the need for urgent dialogue binding parties And under the auspices of a third party to verify all things in a clear and explicit so as not to repeat crises in the future, especially since the parties have already signed more than one agreement, but was not committed to it.
He explained that "Prime Minister Haider Abadi, despite his obvious intransigence, international pressure is being exercised on him, especially by the United States, in addition to Germany and France. So the ball is now in his home if he wants to be prime minister of all Iraq. "
In response to a question about what is required of Abadi, Shankali said, according to "Middle East", "What is required is to pay the salaries of the region so as not to exacerbate the problems in the region and extends to other areas, allowing terrorism again incursion in some areas and the exercise of criminal functions "He said.
He commented on a question about Abbadi's saying that he was checking the salaries of the staff of the region, fearing the presence of fictional employees, saying, "This is just an argument because no audit has been conducted so far no delegations came from Baghdad to Erbil to direct the audit process and no delegations went from Erbil To Baghdad for this purpose, knowing that we are all against (the satellite), and we hope to hand over salaries to the beneficiaries but we want practical measures on the ground, "explaining" the existence of pressure on the Abbadi by the parties and deputies on the pretext that the salaries of the employees of the region are from Basra oil, , Because there is oil sold from Kurdistan and Kirkuk.
