A representative of the coalition of state law, Tuesday, reported the United States of America Union of Iraqi forces opposition to postpone the parliamentary elections scheduled for next May, in a strange move.
"The US Embassy in Baghdad informed some of the forces in the Union of Iraqi Forces that they oppose the postponement of the elections because this could lead to confusion in the situation in Iraq," said MP Nassif.
Nassif added that "the US Embassy intervenes in all files and political matters in Iraq, except in the file of postponement of the elections."
