    Iran's Mariam Rajavi, the leader of the Iranian opposition, has been protesting since Thursday morning in the cities of Mashhad, Nishapur, Kashmir, Berjand and Shahroud protesting against high prices, unemployment, corruption and clashing with the regime's oppressive forces. "Death to the dictator" and "Death to Rohani" . 

    Maryam Rajavi praised the prominent and courageous role of women in this major uprising. Calling on all the people, especially young people to support the uprising of the people of the city of Greater Mashhad. She added that the heroic uprising today in large areas of Iran, proved once again that the overthrow of the mullahs and the achievement of democracy and the popular authority is a national and public demand.

    "While the vast majority of the Iranian people suffer from poverty, inflation and unemployment, the vast majority of the country's wealth and revenues are being drained into military and security apparatus, and regional wars and interventions are being waged by the regime or looted by regime leaders and placed in bank accounts," said Maryam Rajavi. Therefore, pending this system is based on power, the economic situation and livelihood of citizens becomes worse and that the only solution to salvation from economic and social problems lies in the overthrow of the mullahs. 

    Thousands of people from the city of Mashhad gathered today in front of the city's municipality building in Martyrs Square to protest against the uncontrolled increase in the prices of basic commodities and public goods and embarked on a march towards the campus of Imam Reza. The number of demonstrators increased every minute along the march.

    Before the assembly began, large numbers of members of the internal security forces deployed in the area, but the citizens removed the elements and continued to demonstrate. As the demonstration continued, repressive forces opened fire in the air and fired tear gas at demonstrators. However, citizens and youths resisted and clashed and returned tear gas to the regime. 

    "If you lack one case of embezzlement, our problem will be solved," and "No Gaza or Lebanon, my soul is the redemption of Iran." "You have made Islam a platform, and you have tired people," the protesters chanted, "Death to Rohani", "Death to the dictator" and " A similar protest was held in the cities of Nishapur, Kashmer, Berjand, Shahroud, Nushahr and many other Iranian cities.
