Israeli aircraft launched late Wednesday night, raids targeting empty land and agricultural areas east of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. "
Local sources said Thursday that the shelling targeted targets near the landfill in Rafah, and close to the areas of Sufa and the border fork, but no casualties were reported.
The Israeli occupation artillery shelled the Abu al-Husain area in Rafah with two shells, and no injuries were reported.
The bombing coincided with intense flight of Israeli warplanes and Israeli reconnaissance planes in the various areas of the Gaza Strip.
