     Follow-up / Sky Press:

The Air Force and Air Defense Command of the Houthis announced that it had introduced a new missile system into the battlefield, by which it was able to shoot down a coalition aircraft in Saada and injure another in Sana'a.

"The new system is locally developed with purely national expertise and competencies," she said in a statement published by the Yemeni news agency Saba.

She pointed out that "the new system was able to drop a Tornado aircraft in Saada, and the injury of an F-15" in Sana'a, "during the past two days.

The statement added: "We will continue to develop until the aggressor pays the price of his folly and the effectiveness of our defense capabilities effectively and effectively."

The Houthi group considered that "what it possesses and seeks to possess an air force and defensive deterrent capabilities, is a guaranteed right for all peoples."

It is worth mentioning that the Houthis announced on Sunday, the dropping of a plane belonging to the Arab alliance in the province of Saada, while the coalition said the fall of the plane was the result of technical defect, and that the evacuation of the pilots safely.

Hours later, the Houthis said they had hit an F-15 over the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, without comment from the coalition about the matter.

For nearly three years, Yemen has been witness to a violent war between government forces loyal to President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, who is supported by Saudi Arabian forces led by Saudi Arabia and al-Houthi militias.
