Trump: I want an immigration system based on "skill" in America
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump reiterated Friday that he wants skill-based migration and warned against the influx of immigrants from countries with high crime rates, hinting that he has not been used to describe African countries.
"I want a skill-based immigration system and people who will help our country move forward, I want security for our people," Trump said in a tweet.
The frenzy comes after his previous remarks sparked a wave of condemnation in the United States and the world, including the United Nations.
