The Ministry of Communications announced on Friday the occurrence of "sudden" cut in the cable (Falcon), which affected the Internet services in Iraq.
"The engineering cadres at the General Company for Communications are following up the cutting off of the Falcon cable that took place yesterday in the Mediterranean Sea," ministry media director and spokesman Hazem Mohammad Ali said in a statement.He explained that "the company waiting for the response of the company's foreign (Reliance) operating cable to see how long it will take the process of repair parts and restore the Internet service in a natural way"
