Jordan cuts diplomatic ties with North Korea

Jordan decided to sever diplomatic relations with North Korea, end the accreditation of its Jordanian ambassador to Beijing and the North Korean ambassador to Jordan residing in Damascus.
According to the Jordanian Prime Minister's website, the Jordan's Official Gazette issued on Thursday issued a resolution approved by the Royal Court of Jordan stating:
The Royal Decree was issued approving the Cabinet Decision of 15 January 2018, which included the agreement to sever diplomatic relations with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The resolution also included "ending the accreditation of the Jordanian ambassador to Beijing, the DPRK ambassador to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and informing the DPRK through the ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Beijing.
Earlier, the United States called on all countries to sever diplomatic and trade ties with North Korea.
