Trump refuses to publish a secret document on the investigation into the "Russian intervention"

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump has refused to lift the secrecy of a Democratic Party memo, including a response to a previous memo condemning the FBI's investigation of the Russian intervention in the US election.
The document is a memorandum on the investigation of the Congressional Intelligence Committee on the subject of Trump's campaign relationship with Russia, in which the committee examined classified information on the intelligence services, the FBI and the Justice Department.
Trump said the refusal came at the behest of Justice Department officials, because the memo contains sensitive information, whose publication could jeopardize national security.
He directed the Justice Department to provide assistance to the House Intelligence Committee to review the document.
