A member of the Finance Committee parliamentary Hossam Aqabi, Sunday, that the amounts deducted from the salaries of employees during the past two months must be returned.
Al-Aqabi said in a statement that "we have already sent a letter to the government to stop deductions for salaries of employees until the adoption of the budget," noting that "the adoption on Saturday means that the suspension of the deduction came into force as of January 1 last."
He added that "any action after this date will be contrary to what is in it and must be canceled," asserting that "the amounts deducted for the months of January and February will be safe guarantees must be returned to employees when the availability of cash."
And voted the House of Representatives yesterday, Saturday (March 3, 2018) on the abolition of deductions from the salaries of state employees in the draft budget law for the year 2018
