Brent retreats ahead of OPEC report
The price of Brent crude fell on Wednesday in anticipation of OPEC's monthly report and US inventory data.
By 6:15 am GMT, the benchmark Brent crude was down 0.1 percent at $ 64.56 a barrel.
While the price of Nymex crude futures at $ 60.72 a barrel.
Nymex crude was down 1.1%, or 65 cents.
Investors are awaiting the release of OPEC's report for February later in the day, after falling by 8.1 thousand bpd in January.
US inventory data released today by the Energy Information Administration is also due to be released.
The US Petroleum Institute announced yesterday that stocks recorded a rise of 1.2 million barrels during the week ended March 9 to 428 million barrels.
