"The Ministry of Health has issued its administrative orders to appoint 855 doctors and nurses to the permanent staff," said Dr. Saadoun al-Amir, assistant director of the department. "The Department of Planning in the department was able to distribute new patients between hospitals and health centers. He explained that the orders were distributed by 188 doctors, pharmacists, dentists, 25 specialist doctors, 47 graduates from nursing schools, 238 medical and nursing schools, 287 nursing, midwifery and obstetricians and 70 graduates from private colleges and evening institutes. The health department also carried out a campaign to vaccinate 225,326 children under five years of age. The campaign was preceded by awareness campaigns to speed up the vaccination of children and to raise awareness of the seriousness of the disease. She pointed out that teams from the health centers of the department went out to all areas of the governorate in six sectors of primary health care in the districts of (Essaouira, Azizia, Nu'maniyah, Kut, Badra and the neighborhood), as well as 460 dispensary teams distributed between the fixed and the foot and the mechanism under the supervision of 75 health supervisors. She added that there is another campaign to immunize children who are dropping out of EPI routine immunization programs for the provision of primary health care to vulnerable groups such as children under the age of five, pregnant women and women of childbearing age, noting that students are monitored and subjected to medical examinations in their schools against typhoid, Viruses, rabies and cholera. Al-Lami called on the Ministry of Health to exclude the health sector from the austerity budget and to include financial support in order to provide medicine, medical and laboratory supplies and carry out preventive campaigns, stressing that a number of doctors and health services have initiated a large voluntary work to support the health sector in the province outside official working hours and duties.[/rtl] [rtl][You must be registered and logged in to see this link.][/rtl] |
