(Reuters) - US President Donald Trump on Saturday threatened to stop federal government activity in September if Congress does not provide more funding to build a wall along the border with Mexico.
"This wall started and we have $ 1.6 billion," Trump said at an election rally in Washington, Michigan.
"We will come again on September 28 and if we do not have security on the border, we will have no choice. We will close the country because we need to secure the border," he said.
