    BAGHDAD - The Fund for the Reconstruction of the affected areas on Sunday revealed the damage of 150 thousand housing units in the liberated areas of the control of the organization, "Daash," indicating that the damage amounted to about 80 billion dollars.

    "The amount of damage in housing units reached 150 thousand units in the liberated areas of the control of the Daash organization," said the head of the fund Mustafa Al-Hiti told "Iraq News" that "the amounts needed by each sector, which we call damage and losses up to 80 billion dollars" .

    Al-Hiti added that "the damage is intended for the destroyed facilities, which is the book value of these facilities. Losses also account for the lost opportunities, as well as the human damage and the programs needed for rehabilitation, physical objects of construction and reconstruction, poverty, unemployment and other psychological damage."

    He added that "large international companies believe there are large opportunities in Iraq for investment," explaining that "the opportunities come from two sides first hand, there are wealth and natural resources to help investment and there are human forces that can also help in reconstruction."

    "Iraq presented during the Kuwait Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq, a document containing statistics of the damage sustained during the war on the organization of an advocate, and agreed by the international community and each of the 70 countries that were present at the conference."
