[ltr]The Saudi cabinet on Tuesday rejected the kingdom's refusal to transfer the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.[/ltr]
[ltr]The Council of Ministers expressed "condemnation of the Kingdom to target unarmed Palestinian civilians by the Israeli occupation forces," stressing the need for the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to stop the violence and protect the brotherly Palestinian people.[/ltr]
[ltr]He stressed that this step "represents a great bias against the rights of the Palestinian people, which was guaranteed by international resolutions, and that the Kingdom's government has already warned of the serious consequences of such an unjustified step because it constitutes a provocation to the feelings of Muslims around the world."[/ltr]
[ltr]The opening of the new US embassy in Jerusalem came on Monday, following a pledge by US President Donald Trump, who recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel last December.[/ltr]
[ltr]Palestinians gathered in Gaza on Tuesday for the funerals of dozens of people killed by Israeli forces the previous day as Israeli troops took up positions on the border with the Gaza Strip to deal with the last day of Palestinian protests.[/ltr]
