The US publication of the Clarion Project to combat extremism and defend human rights published a report on the impact of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's speech to the Iranian people on the uprising and protest against the Tehran regime on May 21.

"The protests in the last few months show that the Iranian people are very frustrated by the failures of their government, and we support the Iranian people who are demonstrating against a repressive government," Pompeo said during his speech.

The speech resulted in the launch of social networking sites for the Persian language promoting the regime change, in addition to the label "Thank you, Pompeo".

The website said that Pompeo's encouragement seemed to be the secret behind the new momentum of anti-regime protests in Iran. Since May 22, Iran has seen several protest movements from different groups of people.

First: the truck drivers' strike in the provinces of Qazvin and Lurstan, in protest against their low salaries and road taxes and insurance payments. Truck drivers refused to obey a court order to return to work, and their objections were attacked by security forces, who used tear gas and rifles.

Second: Workers of the National Oil Company in the city of Kerman, central Iran, joined the protests of truck drivers.

Third, taxi drivers who work online have started a strike against the government because of their low salaries.

Fourth: protests in Isfahan, coordinated by railway workers groups, who have not been paid for four months.

Fifth: The shops in Tehran, in several markets closed their doors; in protest against government decisions and solidarity with truck drivers.

VI: Screens at the airport of Mashhad, the second largest city in Iran, were hacked by an anti-regime group protesting against the government and its foreign interference in other countries as agents of terrorism. The aircraft timings were changed to denounce the regime's actions and the loss of Iranian lives and financial resources in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. Before the Revolutionary Guard.
