Tehran suspends flights to one of its main airports tomorrow

An official at the Imam Khomeini airport said on Sunday that the air traffic will be suspended for five hours on Monday, marking the 29th anniversary of the departure of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini.
"The suspension of all flights comes as part of the ceremony to mark the Imam's departure and will be open from 16:00 to 21:00," said Ali Rustami, airport assistant at the Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran. Monday (11:30 to 16:30 Greenwich time) ".
"All Iranian and foreign airlines have been notified of this decision, which will be followed by 13 scheduled flights from the airport and 19 flights will be scheduled," Rustami added.
He pointed out that "the trips included in the rescheduling include flights Baghdad, Istanbul, Muscat, Najaf, Dubai and Yerevan." Ending / 25
