Gold prices rose on Wednesday, supported by a weaker dollar and lower Treasury yields, but expectations of a US interest rate hike next week have limited gains.
By 0635 GMT, spot gold rose 0.3 percent to $ 1298.98 an ounce.
Gold futures for August delivery rose 0.1 percent to $ 1303.10 an ounce.
