"The image and the statement and the geek." Did Trump press the trade war button already?

Direct: It is said that the picture always reflects more than a thousand words, but Chancellor Angela Merkel had a stronger opinion after publishing a picture that sparked controversy and strong speculation about the trade crisis between the major economies.
Merkel, through her account on the Instagram website, published a picture of her with the leaders of the six countries standing before US President Donald Trump in a situation that reflects the ongoing trade dispute before the latter published a screech confirming the clash.

The description of investors and global newspapers of the G7 summit in recent days has evolved from the "Big Seven Summit" to the "6 + 1 summit," referring to the divide between the participating countries on trade issues.
The summit will include France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Canada, Japan and the United States.
The G7 summit saw wide investor interest, after sharp trade tensions last week against the backdrop of the United States' decision to impose tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum to the EU, Canada and Mexico.
Targeted countries have responded by threatening to impose similar duties on US goods, a move that makes the threat of a global trade war a nightmare.
The US president has repeatedly stressed that the United States faces huge tariff barriers from other countries that prevent fair and free trade and cause the US trade deficit to rise.
The US trade deficit hit $ 46.2 billion in April , falling to a seven-month low.
Before leaving the summit, Trump said he had called for an end to all tariffs and barriers to trade during his meeting with leaders of the group.
"We discussed the need for a fair trade among all. The United States was exploited for decades. Everyone treated us like a bank that was stolen," he said.
Trump warned that the countries of the group to implement their threats to respond to customs duties imposed by similar measures, pointing out that this step would be a "mistake" and if it turns into a trade war, Washington will certainly win.
The US president left the summit in Canada early; to travel to Singapore for the upcoming meeting with the leader of North Korea on the 12th of this month.
For his part, the Prime Minister of Canada after Trump left the summit that his country will respond to US tariffs by a similar decision next month.
"We Canadians are courteous and we have a sense of responsibility, but we do not accept pressure and coercion either."
Justin Trudeau explained that a joint communiqué was issued for the summit, referring to the signing of the statement by the United States.
But Trump returned to launch a new bomb by saying the United States would not sign the joint statement of the summit, blaming the Canadian prime minister.

"After the false statements made by the Canadian Prime Minister and with the fact that his country is imposing a large fee on my farmers, business people and US companies, I directed our business representative not to sign the final statement of the summit with the fact that we are studying tariffs on vehicles flowing on American market. "
"The Prime Minister of Canada was moderate and tolerant during the G7 summit, only to make statements after my departure saying that US tariffs are a kind of insult and that his country will not accept coercion," Trump continued.
"This is very unreliable and weak," he said. "The tariffs we imposed are in response to Canada's 270 percent tariff on US dairy products."
The hours leading up to the G7 summit have been met with threats and sharp statements between the US president and both his US counterpart and the Canadian prime minister.
