Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -Member of Integrity Parliamentary Committee,
Sabah al-Saadi, revealed that 183 judges are convicted with
administrative corruption and involved in the Justice and Accountability
    law.

In a press conference held at the parliament, he said “The Supreme
Judicial Council sent a document to the parliament, in response to the
request of JAC Committee, involved names of 183 judges in the Federal
Court under the measures taken according to the JAC law.”

“73 judges are involved in corruption cases but they referred to
retirement and they currently receive 80% of their salaries while some
simple employees were sentenced to imprisonment of dozens of years,” he
    added.

“The Parliamentary Integrity Committee sent a statement to the
parliament denied my involvement in any corruption case,” he mentioned.

He expressed his wonder that the employees of the court demonstrated
against him while they did not demonstrate against the Speaker, Osama
al-Nijaifi when he said that some judges are criminals.
