    Information / follow-up ...
The Washington Post reported Thursday that Washington was deporting members of the criminal gangs that were being held in Syria to their countries of origin.
The newspaper said in a report read by the agency (information) / "America returned 24 members of the supporters of those detained in Syria to their countries of origin, and 100 others may be the same fate."
"Washington is struggling to locate hundreds of others," she said.
According to Defense Department sources, including senior Pentagon policy official John Rudd, the US military maintains that in seven detention centers in Syria, there are 600 detainees held by their families while supporting Syria's Kurdish-dominated democratic forces.
"There are about 400 other da'is who are being held separately by the Syrian Democratic Forces in different facilities," she said.
