The two political offices of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party held a meeting in Erbil on Monday, on the formation of the new government.
A member of the Political Bureau of the National Union Saadi Ahmed Perah said in a press statement that "the meeting is part of the ongoing meetings of the delegation of the two parties, to take a final decision on the mechanism to participate in the new Iraqi government."
The meeting comes at a time scheduled to hold parliament on September 15, to discuss the election of the Presidency of the Parliament and the formation of the largest bloc.
