(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Financial Times published a report for the Corniche kidneys highlighting the election of the new Iraqi president Barham Saleh and the appointment of Adel Abdul Mahdi to form a government.
The writer says these latest developments represent "an attempt to end the political crisis in the country."
She added that "Abdul Mahdi and Saleh are considered veteran politicians in the post-Saddam era."
"People deserve to be represented by a better group of politicians and leaders," said Salih, who has a doctorate from Britain. "For the first time since 2005, the prime minister is not a member of the Islamic Dawa Party.
"Abdul Mahdi and Saleh are facing major challenges, including the rebuilding of dilapidated cities, the development of the public services infrastructure, and the integration of militias formed to fight the so-called Badash organization," she said.
"Investors in Iraq who have suffered, say they all hope that a government will be formed quickly so that the construction movement in the country can begin," she concluded.
