SHEIKH ALI: SOME MINISTERS SIGN CONTRACTS WORTH MILLIONS OF DOLLARS BEFORE LEAVING THEIR MINISTRIES
Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Ali said on Monday that some ministers signed contracts with commissions exceeding millions of dollars before leaving his ministries, threatening to pursue them legally.
"Some ministers are now signing contracts with commissions exceeding tens of millions of dollars before they bid farewell to their ministries," Sheikh Ali said in a tweet on Twitter.
"The prime minister must stop this and cancel their deals," Sheikh Ali said, threatening to "pursue them legally and judicially."
"These people will not be able to escape impunity as they imagine," he said, adding that "the House of Representatives has been in place since September 3."
There are a lot of corrupt contracts contracted, which led to the deterioration of services in the country, while officials are demanding the Commission on Integrity and continuously to investigate these contracts and bring the corrupt to justice.
