(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, discussed with the Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammad Halboussi the latest developments in the political situation and the file of forming the next government.
A statement of his office received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim stressed during the meeting, "the importance of coordination and integration between the executive and legislative authorities."
Both sides stressed "the importance of resolving the stalled laws and the stage of the previous sessions, especially laws that complement the structure of the state and the political system."
Mr. Ammar al-Hakim also stressed that "the House of Representatives should take its oversight role in the fight against corruption with the importance of resolving the parliamentary committees so as to allow the Council to exercise these tasks easily."
