    The parliamentary blocs in Iraq to discuss the amendment of the law of the Vice-President of the Republic in preparation for reducing their number to only one deputy. Since 2008, the President of the Republic of Iraq has 3 deputies according to the law of the Presidency of the Republic, divided between Shiites and Sunnis, while President Kordia.

    Earlier, media and social networking sites published information on the agreement to nominate the leader of the «coalition of state law» Nuri al-Maliki to the post of new Vice President Barham Saleh.

    However, MP from the coalition «State of Law» Saad Almtalibi confirmed that «the news that spoke about Maliki's nomination to the post of Vice-President is inaccurate».

    He explained that «until this moment did not submit any candidate for any position».
