The Senate overwhelmingly endorses a halt to US support for the Saudi war on Yemen

The US Senate on Thursday voted by a majority to stop US support for the war Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have waged in Yemen for more than three years.
According to the media, the US Senate approved the cessation of US military support for the Saudi-UAE alliance in Yemen by 56 votes to 41.
The decision is the first of its kind since the start of the Saudi war on Yemen in March 2015.
The Senate earlier approved a majority of 60 votes - including 11 Republicans - against 39 to move to the final vote on a bill that prevents the Trump administration from providing military support to Riyadh in the war in Yemen. Ending / 25
