Al-Mayahi: Wasit needs 450 billion to complete 254 projects

Governor of Wasit Mohammed Jameel al-Mayahi said on Wednesday that 254 projects in the province have been halted as a result of the financial crisis and austerity, pointing out that the province needs more than 450 billion dinars to complete the stalled projects.
"The province suffers from a clear delay in the completion of service and strategic projects," he said, adding that "254 projects are completely stalled because of the financial crisis experienced by the country, and some of them stopped for administrative reasons outside On the powers of the province. "
He added that "the province needs 450 billion dinars to complete all the projects stalled and sluggish," noting that "the projects stopped for the completion of roads and bridges and the construction of hospitals, schools and kindergartens."
Al-Mayahi explained that his administration "managed during this year to move 60 service projects distributed between the city center and the districts and areas of the province." He noted that "these projects included the work of roads and buildings for health and rehabilitation and rehabilitation of a number of schools and campaigns set up networks Maja."
