    Governor of Wasit Mohammed Jameel al-Mayahi said on Wednesday that 254 projects in the province have been halted as a result of the financial crisis and austerity, pointing out that the province needs more than 450 billion dinars to complete the stalled projects.
    "The province suffers from a clear delay in the completion of service and strategic projects," he said, adding that "254 projects are completely stalled because of the financial crisis experienced by the country, and some of them stopped for administrative reasons outside On the powers of the province. "
    He added that "the province needs 450 billion dinars to complete all the projects stalled and sluggish," noting that "the projects stopped for the completion of roads and bridges and the construction of hospitals, schools and kindergartens."
