The Ministry said in a statement that "in implementation of the directives of Minister of Communications Naim Thajil al-Rubaie to combat the smuggling of Internet capacity and quality process through the inventory of Internet towers, carried out by the cadres of the Directorate of Communications Nineveh in cooperation with the National Security Service was reached major towers in a (remote) - Mosul near the province of Arbil used to smuggle the Internet capacity. "
She added that "during the operation, the smuggling methods, legal proceedings and suits against the violating companies were seized, calling on the security services and citizens to cooperate with the ministry cadres in order to stop smuggling and control the waste of public money."
