    A senior Saudi delegation is visiting Iraq, including a number of ministers, headed by the Minister of Trade and Investment, Majid al-Kasabi.

    On the first day of the visit, Saudi Arabia announced a $ 1 billion grant to Iraq and announced the opening of three new consulates in Iraq.

    The Saudi delegation consists of 100 personalities, including 9 ministers, to discuss the development of relations and economic cooperation.

    The visit of the delegation to resume the work of the second session of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council in the Iraqi capital Baghdad, and activate the role of Saudi Arabia in the stage of investment and reconstruction in Iraq and cooperation in various fields.

    The nine Saudi ministers will meet with the heads of the government and the House of Representatives. They will also meet with their Iraqi counterparts, as well as representatives of major Saudi companies and institutions, during the second session of the Saudi-Saudi Coordination Council.

    The Iraqi Council of Ministers, which had approved the draft agreement to promote and protect investment between Riyadh and Baghdad, will discuss with the Saudi delegation the files of the reconstruction of liberated areas and encourage trade exchange and cultural and sports cooperation.
