    BAGHDAD (Reuters  
    ) - Security and economic integration will be the main topics to be discussed at a conference of parliaments of Iraq's neighbors, which will be hosted by Baghdad, the foreign affairs committee said Wednesday. 
    "The heads of parliament of the six neighboring countries, in addition to Iraq, will meet next Saturday in Baghdad at a conference which is the first of its kind in the region," committee member Iqbal Abdul Hussein said in a statement received by Mawazine News. 
    "The conference, which will be held under the slogan" Iraq .. stability and development, "will discuss the main issues that concern the interest of Iraq and neighboring countries, namely security, and re-regional arrangements for the purpose of making decisions and important steps towards building a safe area in the next phase, and development and economic and political cooperation between these Countries".
    She pointed out that "the President of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halabousi directed to meet with the Committee on Foreign Relations for the purpose of discussing the preparations for the conference."

    A member of the Foreign Relations Committee Iqbal Abdul Hussain, on Wednesday, the most prominent files to be addressed by the Conference of parliaments of neighboring countries of Iraq, stressing that security and economic integration will be the main axes.
    "Security and economic integration will be the main topics that will be discussed at the conference of parliaments of the neighboring countries of Iraq, which will be in Baghdad," Abdul-Hussain said in a statement received by NAS on April 17, 2019.
    "The heads of parliament of the six neighboring countries, in addition to Iraq, will meet next Saturday in Baghdad at a conference which is the first of its kind in the region," she said.
    "The conference, which will be held under the theme of (Iraq, stability and development), will discuss the main issues related to the interests of Iraq and neighboring countries, namely security and regional rearrangement, for the purpose of making important decisions and steps towards building a safe zone in the next phase. Economic and political relations between these countries. "
    The MP pointed out that "the Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbusi was called to meet with the Committee on Foreign Relations for the purpose of discussing preparations for the conference."

    "The heads of parliaments of the six neighboring countries, as well as Iraq, will meet next Saturday in Baghdad at a conference which is the first of its kind in the region," committee member Iqbal Abdul Hussein said in a press statement.
