    The Supreme Council for Combating Corruption held its tenth session under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister and members, discussed a number of issues on its agenda and issued resolutions and recommendations. 
    The Council listened to the report of the verification committee regarding the validity of the appointments to the owners of the Ministry of Education in the provinces of Diwaniyah, Dhi Qar and Wasit and decided to refer the defaultees to the investigative bodies in the Integrity Commission to complete the investigations and refer them to the judiciary regardless of their positions. 
    The Council reviewed the report of the Committee on the file of oil smuggling, and stressed the need to complete the technical opinion and come up with fundamental recommendations to reduce this phenomenon.
    The council conducted an assessment of the procedures of the security authorities in charge of combating drugs. He stressed the follow-up of the implementation of the legal procedures for the control and destruction operations and the imposition of the most severe penalties against the defaulters and manipulators, considering them as criminals like the arrested criminals and instructing the Ministry of Interior to monitor the implementation of this decision.     While the judicial authorities are working to reduce the maximum penalties and work to the maximum limit of the penalty prescribed. 
    The Council instructed the Integrity Commission to expand the segment covered by the disclosure of financial disclosure and to request the inclusion of all employees and employees of the security services, and to provide a list of government officials whose impact on public funds and the presence of inflation in their wealth is inconsistent with the size of the job he occupied or still occupy, Judicial proceedings against them.

    The Council considered the reports of the Integrity Commission and the Supreme Judicial Council with respect to integrity issues and the face of the need to : - 
    a. Resolve files urgently, especially those involving large corruption and senior officials, and instruct the competent courts through the Supreme Judicial Council to issue its decisions in this regard and inform the public opinion.
    B. Consolidate data regarding the number of integrity issues between the Supreme Judicial Council and the Integrity Commission. 
    T. Resolve the issues referred to the investigative bodies of the Integrity Commission, which number more than 4300 cases and report on them. 
    The Council also pointed out the need to stand up to investors' complaints and the obstacles facing them in accomplishing their projects and to prevent cases of blackmail which they are exposed to by naming a concerned party to be announced after completing the legal procedures. 
    The Council received a number of recommendations of civil society organizations concerned with the fight against corruption through the monitoring cases carried out and forwarded to the competent authorities according to the competence to take the necessary action. 
    The Council also discussed a number of other topics and forwarded its files to the Council of Ministers to take the necessary decisions.
