National: Al-Shammari's success has become the only candidate for defense

National coalition led by Iyad Allawi, on Sunday, that Najah al-Shammari became the only candidate for the Ministry of Defense, pointing out that the dispute over the names of candidates for defense and interior has been greatly reduced.
"The most likely candidate for defense is Al-Shammari's success while there were a large number of candidates before that," said coalition spokesman Kazem al-Shammari in an interview with Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper.
He added that "the dispute over the names of candidates for defense and interior has been reduced to a large extent as the candidate for the defense is now is the success of Shammari only because this position of the national coalition led by Iyad Allawi."
Al-Shammari pointed out that "if there were figures nominated other names (in reference to Salah al-Hariri, who is a joint candidate between the leadership of the Sunni National Axis in the building block and some of the Sunni National Alliance deputies from the reform), this does not mean that he is a candidate and supported by the head of the list, Allawi.
