    [size=45]The Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced on Monday the discovery of two possible sites for the remains of Kuwaiti prisoners. 
    According to a statement to the ministry, the supposed sites of the remains of Kuwaiti prisoners in the province of Muthanna - the road of the Nakheel Salman. 
    He added that the above mentioned sites were found in cooperation between the Iraqi and Kuwaiti authorities and the International Committee of the Red Cross. 
    The ministry said in a statement, "the remains of prisoners were removed from the sites and deposited with the Department of Forensic Medicine in Baghdad, to extract the genetic map and match them with the DNA of the families of the missing."



    Kuwait says the number of its missing since 1990, when the Iraqi army entered Kuwait, was 320 missing, while Iraq said that more than 5,000 Iraqis are still missing since that year. 
    Baghdad and Kuwait resumed their relations in 2003, following the overthrow of Saddam Hussein by US-led international forces.
