{International: Euphrates News} The authorities of Gibraltar revealed the presence of 28 people aboard the Iranian oil convoy detained, including citizens of India, Ukraine and Pakistan.
The Gibraltar authorities added that "the largest number of detainees are Indians, despite the presence of citizens of Ukraine and Pakistan."
She pointed out that the tanker is still anchored, and the police and customs officers are holding talks with the crew, while not yet identified who owns, and the investigation continues.
Earlier, Gibraltar's Prime Minister Fabian Piccardo said his country had stopped an oil tanker off its coast suspected of transporting crude to Syria.
The Government of Gibraltar issued a statement stating: "We have every reason to believe that Grace 1 was moving its shipment of crude oil to the Banias refinery owned by an entity subject to EU sanctions imposed on Syria."
