    The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hassan Karim al-Kaabi, Saturday, the involvement of local governments in the preparation of the federal budget for next year, noting that the Parliament is keen to increase financial allocations in future budgets.
    Al-Kaabi said in a statement received during his visit to the province of Babylon that "the increase of allocations of the provinces are priorities of the work of the House of Representatives, expressing" the keenness of the legislative institution to multiply during the federal budget for the next year.     He added that "the Parliament is working to involve local governments in the provinces during the discussion for the purpose of allowing them to include projects in their provinces and the allocation of financial necessary to achieve, as well as provide the best services citizens."
    Al-Kaabi pointed out that "Babylon has a special location at all levels and will double the efforts of the legislative and executive authorities to support them in full support and urgent and active and contribute to the completion of all projects lagging in the province."
