Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim called on Norwegian companies to invest in Iraq during a meeting with Norwegian Foreign Minister Eni Eriksen Suridi.
The minister said in a statement received (Euphrates News) a copy, that "Iraq assesses its relations with all countries of the world according to the principle of common interests, and to face common risks," expressing "Baghdad's aspiration to strengthen the means of cooperation between the two countries."
Minister Hakim called on "Norwegian companies to invest in Iraq," noting that "Iraq has promising investment opportunities."
They also exchanged views on developments in the Middle East, restoring stability to the region and containing crises. is over
