Prime Minister Saad al-Hadithi announced on Wednesday a plan to increase the allocations of the Housing Fund in the 2020 budget.
Al-Hadithi said that the 2020 budget is in its final stages and is about to be submitted to parliament for a vote.
He added that "the Council of Ministers is a number of amendments to include provisions for reform packages," noting that "one of the amendments to increase the allocations of the Housing Fund in the budget of 2020."
He explained that "its purpose is to expand to include the largest number of citizens with housing loans and the inclusion of persons with disabilities and people with limited income loans who will receive plots of land from the state within the steps of reform packages."
