The International Coalition in Iraq recalculates after the last week

The international coalition against ISIS announced Thursday the suspension of its military activities in Iraq, focusing on protecting Iraqi bases hosting coalition personnel.
In a statement posted by the U.S.-led coalition on its official Twitter page, the us-led coalition said: "Activities that have been suspended include training with partners and supporting their operations against ISIS."
"Although military activities are currently suspended, (other) activities continue normally, including combating harmful ISIS propaganda, stabilizing, and disrupting funding," the statement continued.
"We believe it is in the common interests of all coalition partners, including Iraq, to continue the fight against ISIS," he said.
The past week has seen serious developments in the U.S.-U.S. conflict, and military operations on Iraqi territory, starting with the killing of senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard commander Qassem Soleimani on a U.S. march ing plane, and iran's strike on U.S. military targets.
After wednesday's dawn strikes, a number of coalition countries took action to protect their forces in Iraq, including withdrawing troops and reducing operations.
