Reuters reported, quoting an Iraqi security official, that a preliminary investigation that referred to a spy network inside Baghdad airport was involved in the assassination of the Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani on the airport road.
The official said, "The four suspects passed on information to the US military as part of a wider spying network," noting that "the four suspects are a security officer at the airport, and two others at an airline at Damascus Airport."
