The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs intends to release a supplement to the full-time salary of those whose names did not appear in the first batch that was launched yesterday.
Issam Abdel Latif, head of the Ministry of Care for People with Disabilities and Special Needs in the Ministry, said in a statement published by the official newspaper Al-Sabah and seen by Sada, that “the authority is launching a special supplement for the full-time appointed salary of the beneficiaries whose salaries were not released within the first batch launched yesterday .
Abdel-Latif added, “The Commission held an expanded meeting in this regard in order to include the beneficiaries of the salary whose data was registered within the Authority’s database.” Noting that “the problems that accompanied the disbursement of the first batch of the appointed full-time salary for the year 2020 were prepared, and some notes were prepared Which was diagnosed by the IT department in order to discuss the difficulties that faced payment disbursement and to develop urgent solutions in order to avoid errors that accompanied the payment of salaries.
And he added, "The commission announced the postponement of the work of the medical committees working in the authority for a period of two weeks, which can be extended, in order to preserve the safety of the auditors from the risk of infection (Corona)," noting that "the work of the medical committees operating in hospitals will be due to the existence of preventive measures in this regard."
He called on health authorities and medical committees to “simplify procedures to serve persons with disabilities, calling at the same time to increase the number of medical committees for medical examination to absorb the largest possible number of those covered by the privileges of the Persons with Disabilities Law No. 38 of 2013 and reduce time in remote dates.”
