Member of the Parliamentary Energy Committee, Jamal al-Muhammadawi, said on Monday that the statements of US Energy Secretary Dan Brolett regarding the export of oil from the Kurdistan region raise many questions in this regard, while the resigned prime minister held responsibility for political courtesies and wasting the wealth of the central and southern governorates in favor of Kurdistan and not paying the export amounts to the government Federal.
Al-Muhammaddawi said in a statement that he received the "information", a copy of it, "The statements of the US Energy Secretary Dan Brolett revealed the reality of the quantities of oil that are exported from the Kurdistan region, in which he mentioned Kurdistan's superiority over Libya in the export of oil, and if we know that the export quantities amounted to about 1.3 million A barrel per day, the region issues more than this number, while negotiating with Baghdad on 250 thousand barrels of oil only.
Al-Mohammadawi held the resigned prime minister responsible for “neglecting and wasting the wealth of the central and southern governorates in favor of the Kurdistan region in an unfair manner in the distribution of wealth unfairly, based on political compliments and the continuation of his government’s disbursement of 452 billion dinars per month to the region.
